Car update. I have now my chassis and body in Norway . It is placed in my workshop . I have started to grind all  MAgweldings and spot weldings to make it look nicer . And put some acid painting on the grinded places when finish. I belive that this work will take at least one month , and then I'll start to make the body a perfect fit
I'll come back with pictures later.
Now it's 14 days in the North see on job , than it's 14 days in Vancouver on the Olympics . After that my vife say that I can visit my project again :-)

Hi forum members and guests.
I'm not into a vacum , I have been working with my two gt40's all winter The one with registration have been out for a nice ride .

I tried to do some sanding on the new body  inside in my workshop, but the dust  came all over the shop and I had to stop, so I will put up a tent to do the sanding outside while it is summer and hopefully good weather. I'm now in Sweden and do a widening of the rear body to cover wide rear wheels .
I also hope to make the uprigths for my car . I'm not in the position to whine about  the uprights since I will make them  my own , and I do not belive that there are any reason to ask question about the strength on theese parts.  Someone have raised this question, I do not know if those persons have put the uprigths to a test lab and make some documentation  on the subject (and frankly I do not care) .
When building the new engine I am advised to use Eagle parts. and Inglese cam to fit the Webers. any gomments on this ? good ideas are welcome.
Hope to be more active in the future.

I have a bunch of Webers to this engine all of them are from different engines and therefore they have different setup  with choke-main jet- air corrector jet idle jet etc.  Is there anyone out there with webers for aprox 400 + hp engines with weber that have a setup that work good?.
I could need a tip to do a set up to start with and see how it work. I'm not on high rev for this engine max rpm will be 6500, so a 37mm venturi is proberly good.
The engine will be on a dyno to measure how the Webers work  (sometime next summer hopefully)
